Nice Write Up and Feedback

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to fellow trader Stephen K. for a nice write up he did about Swimdicators over at his new website, StockTradersJourney.com. Feel free to go check out the post and as well as the other resources he has written about based on his experience working toward becoming a better trader.

Stephen is a Swimdicators customer from the northeastern U.S., a ThinkOrSwim user, and we also recently realized we share a mutual friend in the person of my fellow Nashville trader Jerremy Newsome of Real Life Trading. RLT does a lot of gap trading and some of the classes I took at Jerremy’s old company are what led me to actually program the premarket gap scans in the first place, so that was a pretty cool connection.

I really appreciate Stephen’s positive feedback on my work here and I’ll try to stay worthy of it! 🙂 Thanks!

Automatically Find Chart Patterns & Candlestick Patterns in ThinkOrSwim

https://easycators.com Automatically Find Chart Patterns & Candlestick Patterns in ThinkOrSwim Think-Or-Swim has a great little feature that helps you automatically find and trade technical chart patterns and candlestick patterns. You’ve no doubt read about the classic technical chart patterns such as double tops and bottoms, head and shoulders, ascending triangles, etc. You’ve likely also heard of the Japanese candlestick patterns such as Marubozu, Doji, Evening Star, Morning Star, etc. But did you know ThinkOrSwim knows how to find and notify you of all these types of chart patterns automatically? TOS features a great pattern recognition engine that finds both classic technical chart patterns and Japanese candlestick patterns. In this video I show you how to turn on pattern recognition in TOS and then customize which classic chart and candlestick patterns you want Think Or Swim to find for you. In my next video, I’ll also show you how to make your own custom candlestick patterns in TOS. If you find these videos helpful, please like & subscribe! Low Float Lists Updated

low float stock scan for thinkorswim

Just a quick note here to let all the low float and gap traders out there know that I just updated the low float lists again as of this evening. I realized it was about time to release an update so I went ahead and put the elbow grease in :-). Moving forward, I have added a reminder to my work calendar to go in and update the lists every 2 months.

For those of you who have already purchased the low float stock scan, the new list installation links should be in your order detail page in your My Account > Orders area when you login to your account.

For anyone who’s interested in trading low floats in ThinkOrSwim but hasn’t figured out how to yet, here’s the main low float watch list page where you can learn more about our workaround.

Thanks for being awesome, and enjoy the rest of the week!
